About Kanban Board
A lightweight Trello-style kanban board for students. Organize tasks across custom columns like To Do, In Progress, and Done. Drag and drop cards between columns, add color labels, descriptions, and mark tasks as complete. Everything is saved locally in your browser.
How to Use
- 1Cards start in the "To Do" column by default — click a title to rename it.
- 2Click "+ Add a card" at the bottom of any column to create a new card.
- 3Drag a card to a different column to move it.
- 4Hover a card to reveal actions: 🎨 label color, 📝 description, 🗑 delete.
- 5Tick the checkbox on a card to mark it as done.
- 6Click "+ Add Column" in the top right to add more columns.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my board saved?
Yes. The board is saved automatically in your browser's localStorage. It persists across page refreshes on the same device.
Can I rename columns and cards?
Yes. Click any column title or card title to edit it inline.
How do I move a card?
Drag the card to a different column, or hover the card and use the "Move to: Col X" buttons at the bottom.
Can I add color labels?
Yes. Hover a card and click 🎨 to pick from 6 label colors. The color appears as a stripe at the top of the card.
What happens when I delete a column with cards?
A confirmation prompt appears before deleting a non-empty column.
