Frequently Asked Questions

What are OpenGraph tags?
OpenGraph (OG) tags are HTML meta tags that control how your page appears when shared on social media. They define the title, description, image, and URL shown in link previews.
Why does my image not show on Facebook?
Facebook caches OG data. After updating your OG tags, use the Facebook Sharing Debugger to clear the cache. Also ensure your image is at least 1200×630px and the URL is absolute (not relative).
Are OG tags the same as Twitter Cards?
No, but Twitter falls back to OG tags if Twitter Card tags are missing. For best results on Twitter, add both og:* and twitter:* meta tags.
